What to Wear

I've been having trouble posting. I want so desperately to take cute outfit pics and dress up to go out, but it's just not gonna happen. Every time I put something on that I think will look cute and flattering, I end up looking like a potato. I'll schedule to shoot and then cancel because I'm too tired and have zero energy to do my hair and makeup. Ok Ok.. by now your probably like WHA? Well Guys, I'm pregnant! I haven't made a formal announcement on my social media yet, but I have so much to say about getting dressed while being pregnant. What a pain! You thought you didn't have clothes to wear before, well when your pregnant it's a million times more complicated than that. I'm so excited to be pregnant but the maternity clothing available is truly horrendous. Maternity clothing is actually really pricey for being so ugly. Women still buy it though, out of necessity. I purchased my first maternity clothing the other day and although I wasn't thrilled with the stuff, I figured I could add my personal touch to the otherwise simple pieces. I'm hoping when I actually have a bump, it will get a little easier because I'll look pregnant and wont be so subconscious about looking like I'm just overweight. For now it's anything flowy and oversized! Here is an outfit that I recently posted on my IG a few weeks ago (still in my first trimester,) when I wasn't really showing much but was very bloated and fatigued haha.

Rain Rain... I love you, but go away!

What is the deal with the LA weather? My wardrobe is so confused right now... Over the past few weeks, I've been trying to wear my coats and sweaters, but I'm finding that I don't really have that many. I guess living in LA my entire life, didn't really prepare me very well for a down pour of rain and high winds. I actually don't own any water proof shoes, nor do I own any rain coats. I also came to the realization that I need to upgrade my cheapy umbrella asap! For now I've been living in this Zara coat!!! I basically have been wearing it with everything! I'm really happy with it because weather I'm wearing a light top or a bulky sweater, it layers quite nicely!

Whatever

This whatever bomber is on heavy rotation. I'm trying to buy less and less trendy items and more staple classic pieces, but this bomber definitely snuck in there. At least it's black and pretty much goes with everything... I just couldn't resist sportin the motto.  Whatever has certainly been my mood lately.

Basic Frills

What to wear, what to wear??? Is this every girls dilemma? I mean seriously, I have way too much clothes and yet I have nothing to wear. I bought this entire outfit at the mall the other day. I really should be cutting back on the spending... you know with planning a wedding and all, but that doesn't seem to be happening. Can't go wrong with the basics though! I know I'll get lots of use out of these high waisted black shorts. I was most drawn to the top, I think it's great for spring and summer looks.  I love a little frill and the sleeves here add the perfect feminine flair! XO

Zara did me wrong

Hey guys, I'm so sorry I haven't blogged about my recent NYC trip. The second I stepped off the plane, I became ill ( No literally, TMI but I puked right out of the gates.) I don't know if it was the drastic weather change or flying that shot my immune system, but I've been so very sick ever since. I'm feeling almost back to my normal self now, and ready to talk about this Zara coat I purchased just for the trip.. Knowing that it would be cold in NYC, I purchased this lovely Zara coat for my travels. I loved the olive color and the awesome fit. It was perfect or so I thought at the time. My first outfit with this fab coat and the armhole and pocket inseam tear. I'm truly disappointed in the quality; Zara usually has great quality stuff! Even though, the coat was falling apart, I still rocked it and intend on taking it to get fixed. Don't worry despite the wardrobe malfunction, I still managed to have a wonderful time hehe. This time around, I visited the Whitney Museum.

Fall in LA

I don't know why I haven't posted this OOTD, but here it is! It's fall now, and I'm still not able to really sport a sweater or coat in LA, so I would consider this look a fall inspired one. Although, I've been in Seattle all weekend, and it rained while I was gone. It's ironic that while I was in Seattle, it didn't rain at all. I guess I brought the sunshine with me! Stay tuned for my upcoming blog post about my Seattle trip! XO

That's so 70s

I bought these jeans in Barcelona and I'm super stoked on them. Denim is the hot thing right now and  the 70s patchwork denim trend is making it's way back too! Actually this season, the 70's are back in full effect and I love it! This comeback is so rad, I can't get enough of all the crochet, the suede, the bell bottoms, backpacks and now the patches too. I really like the cutesy patches on these, and not to mention the great wash. That watermelon patch though (emoji with heart eyes!) What's your favorite fashion comeback?

My 20's are almost over..

Some of you may already know, that I just had a birthday. I tend to usually go all out, and make a big hooplah out of the damn thang. I must say that this year, the certain excitement that you get when your bday approaches, just wasn't there. I guess it just comes with getting older. The older you get, the less fuss you want to make haha. This years birthday was very quiet and mellow. I celebrated my 29th birthday, which means that this is the last year of my 20's. They say your 20's are your selfish years, your learning years, your best years.. Reflecting on them thus far only makes me crave accomplishing much more before 30 hits me. I've been compiling a 30 before 30 list that I intend to complete before then. Stay tuned, I shall be posting it very soon! XO

#HOLLYWEIRD

I sometimes feel like an outsider in the city that I grew up in. About a year or so after I finished high school, I moved to Orange County with my family. My early 20s were spent in a city that was nothing like LA. I wasn't much of a beach girl, yet I lived in a city that thrived on that beach life. Although it was an entirely different way to spend my early 20's, It was still wonderful! There are so many great things about Orange County, but I was always an LA girl at heart. I always knew I'd find my way back and here I am rediscovering my beautiful city. LA has so much life and character; it never disappoints. Even when I revisit some of my fav places, it's always a new experience. What are some of your favorite LA spots? XO

Shopping Season

Hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving! The holiday season has definitely begun! This time of year is always so warm and cheerful. The decorations, the scents, the people, the presents, it is just a happier month! The shopping is always more fun too. I like the presents; giving them and receiving them. I have to get started on my holiday shopping... I am Jewish but celebrate both Hannukah and Christmas, so it's crunch time for me! On black friday, I managed to buy a bunch of gifts for the babies, but I'm still on the hunt for the perfect gifts for my loved ones! Cyber Monday is a good start?! Lets get to shopping.. XO
