LACMA does it again

So I just read this article on Racked about YouTube star Michelle Phan, and I thought it was super cool. I'm not really familiar with her work, but it definitely sparked my interest. She's younger than me and such an amazing human being, if what I read was true. She herself is a blogger sensation who has decided to provide the tools cost-free to those who also wish to pursue some form of blogging/vlogging. All week long, you might have noticed on my IG or Twitter (if you follow me there) that I've been questioning the power of blogging and why I want to pursue this. This article was very inspiring. Michelle Phan has used her success to help others succeed. She is encouraging so much creativity and empowering so many to do what they love. I only hope that if ever I get to this multitude of success in my life, that I can be as selfless as her.

These photos have nothing to do with the above thoughts, but I do love the palm trees in them. hehe
I had lunch at Lacma the other day, and decided to snap a quick ootd. Levitated mass is a rather cool installation. Another cool photo opp at Lacma, I must say!  The Stark bar at Lacma however is eh and over-priced. XO

I might of mentioned before in previous posts, that I moved. I absolutely love my new apartment! It's such a beautiful building with great amenities! The best part about moving to a new place is decorating! My boyfriend and I have been having some fun trying to decorate our new home. I can't wait to show you how it turns out. I've scoped the Pinterest and done oodles of online shopping. It's almost as fun as shopping for clothes. I've been so caught up in interior decorating, I've neglected the fashion (emoji with it's mouth open.) Since California weather still makes for sunny days in Fall, this look has a little bit of summertime influences. It's all about this hat though hahaha XO

My birthday just passed and it's official I'm 28. I had the most wonderful bday dinner with my friends at Osteria Mozza. If you haven't been, it's a must! The food was so yummy! I mentioned in earlier posts that I wasn't too excited for my bday; mainly it was the idea of getting older. I'm not 30 yet, but it's scary to think I'm only two years away! I think mainly it's scary cuz you feel like you should have accomplished more than you have. I guess 30 could be the new 20 bahahah
Anywho, I must say that this birthday was a reminder of just how lucky I am to have such amazing friends and family! With all the chaos in my life lately, I found some happiness in that. I truly am fortunate! XO

It's Fridayyyy whooooop whoooop : )
It's been so hot out lately, that I haven't wanted to wear any clothes haha. . . It's too hot for clothes!
Don't you just love rompers?!!! It's almost a lazy way of getting dressed. I picked this little beauty up at the Lovers + Friends sample sale awhile back. I love it so much! It is so comfortable, yet it looks dressed up. The print is so vibrant and lively. I love the color, it adds a certain boldness to the otherwise girly floral print. On hot days like this, easy breezy rompers like this one, are the way to go! XO
