Boots are the thing.

When I think of a West Coast girl's closet, I don't think of coats and scarves.. So what's a Cali girl to do when you wanna dress for fall but the weather only permits sunny and clear skies?? The answer perhaps is BOOTS. I'm obsessed with my over the knee Stuart Weitzman boots! I wasn't able to really break them out during the recent rainy days, but for these sunny LA days, they are just perfect. While they work great for daytime, they can also dress up a casual night look. Over the knee boots add a certain sexiness to any look! My pair of Stuart Weitzman's are truly very comfortable to wear. Although they are more on the pricey end, many more affordable brands have designed their versions of this beauty. I am now so tempted to buy myself a pair in black.

The Broad

Spent a lovely day goofin around at the broad today! I learned that it's pronounced like road. I reserved the tickets months ago and was very much looking forward to the visit. The second we entered the museum, we signed up for Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirrored Room. The wait is extremely long for this exhibit, but totally worth the wait. The wait is in fact painless because you don't actually have to sit and wait. The museum will text you when your turn in line is approaching, which I thought was very cool. The museum houses so many awesome pieces of art. I absolutely loved it! It is in my opinion beautiful inside and out. Here is a little slideshow/ spoiler of some of the art in view:

My Moto

The other day, in an attempt to make small talk with me, my fiance's friend asked me what my alltime favorite piece of clothing was (that I currently own.) I actually stared into my closet, trying to answer his question. I felt stupid that I had no immediate response. Today, I figured it out. It's definitely my cropped moto jacket! I always wear it, it's my "go to" for every outfit.

On a side note.. how cute is this polka dot wall?!!

Are Crops for me?

I loved this top when I bought it. So much so that I also bought it in black. I've had it for about 3 months now and this is the first time I wear it. It is a rather boxy fit and I'm not sure if it flatters me. Are crops made for certain body types? What do you guys think? I have come to the realization that I have purchased many crop tops but have not worn them. Perhaps they are just not for me?! XO

Sunday morning I decided to brave the crowds and check out the Peter Pilotto for Target Collection. I had arrived to Target only 10 minutes after opening and still many of the items were out of my size. Nonetheless I scored some great pieces! I purchased the blue netting print moto jacket, the light blue sweatshirt, and this red iris top. I didn't think I'd like the bold prints as much as I found I did. I liked them so much that I immediately wore this top for the rest of the day! What do you guys think of the collection? Did you purchase any items your in love with?  XO

Happy Friday...THE 13TH :P

Despite how chilly its been lately, today was surprisingly sunny and beautiful!
It's sometimes hard for me to get up and get dressed when its so chilly out. This is an easy, casual everyday look, that anyone can mimic. I like that it covers me up, but still allows me to be feminine and sexy. The knee high boot gives a sexy touch to this outfit. What do you guys think?
