Cuz I'm HAPPY

It's tiring trying to figure out what you want to do in life. Those who have figured out their passions and pursued them as careers are truly blessed. Finding your direction is no joke. Almost nothing excites me as much a great blog post or a trip to the mall. Although I realize that the fashion/blogging industry is an extremely difficult field to excel in, I'm just gonna do me and hope that it inspires someone. Happiness is the ultimate goal! P.S my boyfriend ordered Pharell's special edition La Duree macarons for Colette. Strait from Paris, these bad boys got delivered to our front door yesterday. Needless to say this small box of 6 was devoured. The special flavors were interesting; Coca cola was definitely a surprise! The peanut butter one was classic American. Even though I prefer the classic french flavors, it was still a treat. The packaging reminded me of Space, the phases of the moon or something of that nature. It was most surely a representation of Pharell and we loved it.

DESERT OBSESSED

Hello Friends.
A girlfriend and I decided to make a quick trip to palm springs. The intent was to relax and get our tan on. Clearly that was a fail, it was so hot, I could barely lay out; I'm still pasty as ever. The entire drive up, I thought to myself this is a perfect photo op. In fact, Palm Springs is entirely a perfect backdrop for so many photos. The palm trees, the desert rocks, the open air, the vintage architecture, the pools, it's all so bohemian! Perhaps I'm still in Coachella mode, because all I can think about is knits, kimonos and all things white. Here is a desert inspired look, let me know what you think?!! XO

Sweet Sakura Girl

Hey there LA, I'm back!!!!
It's been a crazy jam packed two weeks! I'm sorry I've been such a bad blogger. I haven't had a moment of rest and now I'm getting sick.. After Coachella, I've lost my voice and my sinuses are a mess! I'm taking the next two sick days to fill you in on all my recent adventures. Japan was a beautiful sight to see and Coachella was a blast, but I'm glad to be home!
Anyways lets get on with it.. JAPAN, OH JAPAN and it's gardens! We were so lucky to catch the end of cherry blossom season. It was almost magical; the delicate blossoms blanket the city with a beautiful shade of soft pink. The Japanese believe the Sakura to be a symbolization of life. The short blossoming season suggests that life is short. The gardens were probably my favorite part of my visit. It was so lovely and peaceful. XO

Comfortable Chic

Being comfortable is one of the main concerns for me when I get dressed.
You know what they say "confidence is the best accessory."
Wearing something you love can make you confident too!  I know when I love the fit of something, I always feel good and want to show off my bod hahaha
This dress is one of my favorite "on the go" looks, its so simple and very comfortable but still alludes sexiness. Although barely any skin is visible, the fit is very body hugging and shows your curves. XO
